In order to be an effective project manager you will need to be a highly effective leader along with the capability to impact change, not to mention impact a team of other people. You will need to be extremely organized with the capability to work on multiple items in a rapid environment.
Ultimately you must work with project sponsors to determine scope, budget and timeline for a project PMP certification . As soon as this is done, you must start the project and collaborate with a group of people from across the organization to implement the desired outcome within the specified schedule and budget.
Perhaps the single most important skill that any professional can possess, particularly a project manager is interpersonal skills. Your ability to communicate with your team will allow you to build an effective working relationship with your team.
Having effective interpersonal skills allows a project manager to listen to their teams so that each project member has a sense of worth on the team. Another aspect to consider is that you are responsible for communicating various aspects of the project across the organization and many times outside of an organization.
